DUMA HOLDS MILITARY REFORM HEARINGS.
A Russian parliamentarian yesterday characterized a closed Duma hearing on military reform as not especially effective, and suggested that until a new defense minister is appointed subsequent hearings were also unlikely to contribute significantly to the reform effort.
