UNOCAL PLANS TURKMENISTAN AGREEMENT.

Unocal Corp. and Delta Oil Co. of Saudi Arabia plan to sign agreements with Turkmenistan for natural gas and crude oil pipelines, the oil companies said Friday. The multibillion-dollar agreement could open new natural gas markets in Pakistan and establish an export terminal on the Indian Ocean for oil from Turkmenistan and the surrounding region by the end of this decade.
