Blake Johnson

Blake Johnson is an advisor at Arclight Labs. He is an intelligence and policy analyst with a decade of experience in countering foreign influence and hybrid threats across the Pacific and Southeast Asia. Blake’s work has shaped capacity and resilience building for governments, security forces, and civil society across the region.

Blake is also a collaborating expert at the Development Intelligence Lab. He has presented or been quoted in international media, including in outlets such as the BBC, The Washington Post, and The Guardian. Blake has previously worked in government on regional security issues, with a focus on regional security cooperation, stability and development, foreign influence, and climate change. He holds a Master’s in Security and Defence Management from the University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University.
