Elizaabeth Van Wie Davis is a Professor at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) with a focus on Chinese domestic, foreign, and defense policies. She has books on Islam, Oil & Geopolitics: Central Asia Since September 11 (2007), Chinese Perspectives on Sino-American Relations (2000) and China and the Law of the Sea Convention (1995) and her articles appear in journals around the world.
