BALTICS FIRM ON NATO.

Lithuania’s foreign minister said on Wednesday that Lithuania remains determined to join NATO despite reports that Russia is preparing a new military doctrine that calls for moving troops into the Baltic republics should they become members of the military alliance. Similarly, Estonia’s foreign minister said his country would ignore the reported Russian threat.
