BEREZOVSKY SAYS HE CAN PROVE IT.

On January 11, the online daily Gazeta.ru reported that Russian oligarch-in-exile Boris Berezovsky had announced during an interview with Ekho Moskvy Radio that he is preparing “a packet of materials which will prove to everyone that precisely the Russian special services blew up the [apartment] houses in Moscow and Volgodonsk” in September 1999 and that they set another bomb, which did not go off, in the city of Ryazan, also in September of 1999. The Russian authorities, Berezovsky charged, “are concealing their crimes” (Gazeta.ru, January 11; Ekho Moskvy Radio, BBC Monitoring, January 11). Berezovsky revealed that he would have his packet of documents ready “by the end of February” (SMI.ru, January 12).
