Andrew Chubb’s presentation at The Jamestown Foundation’s recent Fourth Annual China Defense and Security Conference was covered in an article in The National Interest, "China Not Full of Raging Nationalists," written by Jamestown Fellow Peter Mattis. The article summarized new data presented by Chubb from a survey on popular perceptions of China’s territorial disputes, which challenged the idea that Chinese behavior is driven by fear of popular nationalism.
