RUSSIAN AND AMERICAN COSMONAUTS MAKE FIRST JOINT SPACE WALK
. Two Russian and American cosmonauts successfully completed a space walk this morning. This was the first time American and Russian cosmonauts had made a walk in space together and the first time that a US astronaut wore a Russian space suit. (Itar-Tass, BBC World Service, April 29)
