RAIDING PARITIES….

Agents of Acting Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika raided a law firm linked to Aeroflot, apparently looking for evidence of moneylaundering that might incriminate Boris Berezovsky, a major and perhaps controlling shareholder in the airline. Agents of the State Tax Committee raided Seven Days publishing house, part of the Media Most group, apparently looking for evidence of tax evasion that might incriminate Berezovsky rival Vladimir Gusinsky, who controls Most Bank and related properties. Former Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin scoffed: “Two Jews get into a fight, and the whole country has to watch the farce.”
