Andrea Serino

Andrea Serino is an independent analyst and an active collaborator with the Pakistani geopolitical platform TheKhorasanDiary. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Turin, state formation and the development of Political Islam in South Asia, with particular attention to the ways in which political and religious identities are constructed within the region. He also studies jihadist organizations, primarily as a limit case for examining the construction and contestation of the “national subject” in South Asia, as well as the relationship between political Islam, state formation, and competing conceptions of political belonging. He can be reached by email at: andreaserino3@gmail.com.
