Eric Y.H. Lai
Eric Y.H. Lai, PhD is a Research Fellow at the Center for Asian Law of Georgetown University Law Center, Washington D.C. He received PhD in Law at SOAS University of London. He was a visiting fellow at the Centre for Comparative and Public Law at the University of Hong Kong (2018-19), and a visiting researcher at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London (2023). He is the author of more than thirty English commentaries, policy reports and research articles on law, politics and governance of Hong Kong and China, as well as two Chinese monographs, including Resistance through the Cracks: Understanding Hong Kong’s Rule by Law and Resistance in the Courtroom in Comparative Perspective (2024).
