Frank Tian Xie

Dr. Frank Tian Xie is currently John M. Olin Palmetto Chair Professor in Business and Professor of Marketing at the University of South Carolina Aiken, and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the New York-based think tank Consilium Institute. Previously, he was in the faculty of business at Drexel University. Dr. Xie was a recipient of a Taiwan Fellowship and Visiting Scholar at National Taiwan University. Dr. Xie has been a columnist on China and business for over 20 years and has published in numerous academic journals. His latest book (chapter) on the US-China Technology Rivalry was published by Palgrave Macmillan Cham in Spring of 2025.
