Karla W. Simon is Chair of ICCSL and Affiliated Scholar at NYU’s US-Asia Law Institute. She is taking up a Visiting Scholar position at Harvard’s Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies in August 2014. Her most recent book is Civil Society in China (OUP 2013).
