Khatia Shamanauri is a freelance journalist based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Her work has appeared in international outlets including the BBC, The Telegraph, World Finance Magazine, and Insider. She covers a wide range of topics—from politics and the economy to human rights and healthcare—using data-driven methods and AI technologies to investigate corruption and expose injustice. In addition to her reporting, Khatia lectures on data journalism and visual storytelling at the University of Georgia and Caucasus University.
