Takuya Shimodaira, JMSDF Captain, is currently the first JMSDF Liaison Officer assigned as an International Fellow at the Naval War College. He earned an MA in Area Studies from the University of Tsukuba and Ph. D in Political Science from the Kokushikan University, in Tokyo.
