Jamestown Foundation President Glen Howard was quoted by Polygraph.info in an article on Russian disinformation concerning Zbigniew Brzezinski. Howard is quoted as saying that the quote that Russian media had attributed to Brzezinski was “a vast distortion,” adding that the stylistic differences between the quote in question and known Brzezinski writings raises the likelihood that the quote was a fabrication. Jamestown contributor Paul Goble was also quoted, saying that such disinformation serves Russian purposes by attributing the false quote to someone who is deceased.
