LUKIN CALLS FOR BOYCOTT BY INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS.

Yabloko will call on international observers to boycott the December elections if its disqualification remains in force. That announcement was made on Tuesday by Yabloko deputy chairman Vladimir Lukin, who stressed that he was speaking in his capacity as chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs. Lukin said that millions of Russians could be deprived of their right to vote in accordance with their wishes. Also on October 31, members of the reformist "Russia’s Democratic Choice" faction called for the Duma to convene in special session on November 4 to discuss the conduct of the Central Electoral Commission.
