A new round in the endless fight against bootleg booze and tax evasion began last week with the issuance of a decree establishing the State Committee for Enforcing the Monopoly on Alcohol. The new agency replaces the Federal Service for Enforcing the State Monopoly on Alcoholic Products, which two years ago replaced the State Inspectorate for Enforcing the State Monopoly on Alcoholic Products.
