Hadeel Oueis is a Washington D.C.-based political writer with a focus on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. She has worked as a news analyst for BBC, France 24, DW Arabic, and other international news channels, and currently hosts the “Washington Online “ show, which broadcasts from Bethesda, MD in Arabic, focusing on news in the Levant. Oueis is a Syria Expert and Senior Fellow at the Philos Project, and obtained her degrees from the University of Aleppo and the University of Maryland.
