Jamestown Senior Fellow Willy Lam was quoted by The New York Times in a recent article on the recent mass protests that have broken out in Hong Kong in response to the proposed Extradition bill. Lam is quoted as saying that the protesters wanted to send a message to Beijing, and that they will continue to go to the streets in force to when their basic values are infringed upon.
