Uzbekistanhas suspended gas deliveries to Tajikistan because Dushanbe hasfailed to pay its bills, the BBC reported August 3 citing Tajikradio. Tajikistan had agreed to make up an earlier shortfall of$2 million but had paid only half of that amount by July 25.
