RUSSIAN COMMUNIST PARTY PREDICTS ELECTION COMEBACK

Gennady Zyuganov, leader of the mainstream Communist Party of the Russian Federation, told reporters that his party will make significant gains in the December parliamentary elections. "Our party has restored itself as a major political organization," he said, adding that party cells had been established in even the most remote corners of Russia.
