China Brief editor David Cohen published an article in The National Interest, "Inside Xi Jinping’s Reform Strategy." The article, co-authored with China Brief contributor and APCO Worldwide government relations consultant Peter Martin, describes seven approaches used by previous Chinese leaders to overcome vested interests, and argues that current President Xi Jinping has laid out a coherent political strategy to undertake economic reform in China.
