ELECTION COMMISSION ACCREDITS FOREIGN OBSERVERS.

As many as 888 foreign observers have been accredited by the Central Election Commission (TsIK), head of the TsIK’s international department Andrei Davydov said at a briefing yesterday. There will be about 900-950 observers in total, with the largest delegations coming from the countries of the European Union and the United States. The OSCE is represented by more than 100 observers from 30 countries. More than 50 countries and more than 30 international and national organizations have sent representatives to monitor the December 17 elections. (4)
