KOZYREV WARNS THAT BOSNIA COULD LEAD TO A "BIG WAR."

Prior to his departure for Belgrade, Russian foreign ministerAndrei Kozyrev again spoke out against any use of force in Bosnia:Such methods could result in "a big war," he told InterfaxJuly 24. Kozyrev said that Russia’s approach to Bosnian Muslimsand Serbs was "well-balanced," unlike the positionsof the Western countries. But he did acknowledge that "thereflex actions of the Serbs sometimes go overboard," andRussian special ambassador in Yugoslavia Aleksandr Zotov notedthat he and Kozyrev would tell "all sides to the conflict"that "Moscow will no longer be able to stick to its previouspositions" unless a political solution is found quickly.
