KYRGYZSTAN BUYS CZECH RADAR.

Following press leaks, theCzech Republic’s Trade and Industry Ministry confirmed that radarmanufacturer NTT Pardubice has sold to Kyrgyzstan its "Tamara"radar system, allegedly capable of detecting Stealth aircraft,for $ 17 million, the August 4 Segodnya reported from Prague.Kyrgyzstan’s intended use of the system has not been clarified.The country is a member of the CIS integrated air defense system.

The Russian State Procuracy’s investigation into complaints bysome politicians mocked by the satirical TV show "Puppets"has led some Muscovites to believe that the puppets themselvesmay have a case against their real-life prototypes, because oftheir indecent political behavior.
