Russian officials reconfirmed increasingly friendly ties between Russia and India during a weapons exhibit in New Delhi yesterday. Russia’s ambassador to India told a news conference that Moscow is ready to share Russian technology and expertise in the chemical and energy industries, while Russian defense officials spoke with enthusiasm of proposals to increase Russian defense sector — civilian and military — exports to India.
