MOSCOW SLAMS HUNGARY’S NATO AMBITIONS.

Publication: Monitor Volume: 2 Issue: 76

Russia’s ambassador to Hungary threatened yesterday that Moscow would take military countermeasures should Hungary join NATO, the official Hungarian news agency reported. The report came on the eve of a visit to Hungary by NATO secretary-general Javier Solana. (Reuter, April 17)
