SECURITY OFFICERS EXCHANGE FIRE IN MOSCOW.

Officers of two state security services exchanged gun fire in the Russian capital, Interfax reported June 8. A group of officers from the Moscow Administration of the Federal Security Service were pursuing a criminal and opened fire on a group of Moscow Interior Administration officers pursuing the same man. In the ensuring gun fight, one of the interior administration officials was killed. Spokesman for each side blamed the other for the incident.
