SPECIALISTS RECOMMEND A MONTH IN HOSPITAL.

Publication: Monitor Volume: 1 Issue: 125

The medical commission attending the ailing Russian president said that the results of an electrocardiogram conducted on Tuesday "differed little" from what they were before his recent trips to France and the United States. The Commission head, Academician Andrei Vorobev declared Yeltsins’s health to be stable but recommended that a month’s stay in the Central Clinical Hospital would be "optimal." Vorobev avoided using the label "heart attack," because it is a much broader concept in the medical sense than in the popular view. (1)
