President Boris Yeltsin will begin his summer holiday on July 7, presidential spokesman Sergei Yastrzhembsky announced yesterday. He said the president will probably divide his time between Samara or Saratov oblasts on the River Volga, and the Karelian lakes in northern Russia. First Deputy Premier Anatoly Chubais will start his holiday on the same day. He will entrust his responsibility for dealing with the International Monetary Fund to fellow first deputy premier Boris Nemtsov, and for running the Finance Ministry to his right-hand man, First Deputy Finance Minister Aleksei Kudrin.
