Publication: Monitor Volume: 3 Issue: 103

Visiting the school attended by his granddaughter, President Boris Yeltsin told pupils that in Moscow he and his family live in a state-owned apartment (3 Osennyaya Boulevard) and that, as president, he has the use of several government dachas in the countryside. He said all he owns himself is a dacha (he did not say where it is) and a BMW car, both of which he bought with loans. Yeltsin denied that he has any other property. (RTR, May 23)
