Itar-Tass and Radio Russia say they have no intention of paying for the release of four employees kidnapped in Djohar-gala on March 4. Responding to a ransom demand for $3 million, the two companies issued a joint statement saying that "We must not encourage those who want to turn kidnapping into a business."
