RUSSIAN OFFICERS UNDER FIRE IN DUSHANBE.

A Russian officer serving with Tajikistan’s Defense Ministry, an officer and a soldier of Russia’s "peacekeeping" troops, and two Russian officers’ wives were shot in two incidents on November 19 and 20 in Dushanbe. The toll is 4 killed and one injured. The Russian command charged in a statement that the Tajik opposition has taken to "terrorizing" the Russian military. (Itar-Tass, Interfax, November 21)
