Adam Cathcart is Lecturer in Chinese History at the University of Leeds (UK). He has presented policy papers on North Korea’s northern border regions to the UK Foreign Office, Chatham House, and the Korea Economic Institute of America, and published many academic journal articles on the Chinese-North Korean border, including in Korean Studies and Journal of Cold War History.
