Andrew Nien-Dzu Yang
Andrew Nien-Dzu Yang is an Assistant Professor at National Sun Yat-sen University and a Senior Adviser for the Republic of China’s National Security Council. He served as Minister of National Defense of the Republic of China in August 2013 and previously as Deputy Minister for Policy since September 2009 and an advisor to the ministry since 2000. He previously served as an advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998) and the Mainland Affairs Council (1999-2001). From 1986 to 2000, he was a research associate at the Sun Yat-sen Center for Policy Studies, National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung. He holds an M.Sc. in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London.
