Bohdan Ustymenko
Bohdan Ustymenko is the director of the Ukrainian Institute for Security and Law of the Sea and formerly the principal deputy head of the State Hydrographic Service of Ukraine. He is the initiator and key developer of the Maritime Security Strategy of Ukraine, adopted by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, chaired by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on February 11, 2022. Ustymenko’s publications include numerous scholarly articles. He is an international lawyer and a PhD Candidate in Law.
