David Chen

Mr. David D. Chen is an international security and emerging technologies analyst consulting for various private and U.S. government organizations. The views expressed here are his own. Mr. Chen has over two decades of experience in analytic production and examining key issues in the U.S.-China relationship. He holds a Master’s degree from UC San Diego’s School of Global Strategy and Policy and has also studied at Nanjing University and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He consults as an Associate for the China Aerospace Studies Institute and also serves on the Editorial Board of the internationally peer-reviewed journal Space Policy, among other engagements.
