China Brief Analyst Dennis Blasko’s Assessment of PLA Budget Cited in Huffington Post

Center for American Progress Senior Fellow Lawrence Korb and Bill French cited Dennis Blasko’s China Brief article "An Analysis of China’s 2011 Defense Budget and Total Military Spending — The Great Unknown" in a recently published article with the Huffington Post.
Korb and French writing about "A Prudent Response to Chinese Military Modernization" cited Blasko’s analysis about the People’s Liberation Army’s priorities and greater expenditures on developing the quality of its personnel.
A retired U.S. Army foreign area officer and regular contributor to the China Brief, Dennis Blasko also is the author of the book, The Chinese Army Today: Tradition and Transformation for the 21st Century.
