CHINA ARMS TRADE….

Russia is reportedly close to a deal to sell up to sixty multi-purpose Sukhoi Su-30 combat aircraft to China. The Su-30, a variant of the Su-27 fighter, would give China long-range strike capability it now lacks. But the Foreign Ministry denied rumors of an impending sale to China of two Typhoon-class submarines equipped with SS-N-20 ballistic missiles, which have a range of over 5,000 miles.
