Ukrainian authorities are “unilaterally appropriating” ships and other property of the Black Sea fleet even though there is no agreement on who owns what, Moskovsky komsomolets said April 27. The paper noted that what Moscow politicians call “unilateral concessions” are described by Russian sailors as “unilateral betrayal.” Meanwhile, in the April 29 Krasnaya zvezda, Duma Black Sea Fleet Commission head Konstantin Zatulin said that Moscow “cannot accept” the Ukrainian position on the disposition of the fleet.
