The US and Russian defense ministers will meet at the Pentagon on Thursday in a follow-up to the Clinton-Yeltsin summit discussions of the proposed participation of Russian troops in Bosnia peacekeeping, the Defense Department said yesterday. Ironically, after the same two ministers met on October 8 in Geneva, they stressed their lack of competence to handle this very issue, and passed it up to their presidents.
