Agents of the State Tax Committee raided Seven Days publishing house, part of the Media Most group, apparently looking for evidence of tax evasion that might incriminate Berezovsky rival Vladimir Gusinsky, who controls Most Bank and related properties. Former Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin scoffed: “Two Jews get into a fight, and the whole country has to watch the farce.”
