SUSPECT DETAINED IN ST. PETERSBURG ASSASSINATION.

A man has been detained by police in connection with the murder last August of St. Petersburg’s deputy governor and privatization chief, Mikhail Manevich. However, the man has not yet been charged and Russian prosecutor general Yury Skuratov warned reporters yesterday that it was too soon to say the crime had been solved. (RTR, October 29)
