YELTSIN ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF ROUNDTABLE MEETINGS.

President Yeltsin says he will chair the first meeting of a new roundtable consultative body, due to take place on November 22. Also attending will be the speakers of the two houses of the Russian parliament, the leaders of the various Duma factions, representatives of Russia’s inter-regional economic associations, Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin and his two first deputies (Anatoly Chubais and Boris Nemtsov), trade union leaders, and the head of Yeltsin’s presidential administration. The first meeting will be devoted to the land code and the thorny issue of arable land ownership. (Russian agencies, October 21)
