YELTSIN VISIT TO KIEV STILL UNCERTAIN.

Moscow is discussingwith Kiev the content, but not yet the date, of Yeltsin´slong delayed visit to Ukraine, Russian foreign minister AndreiKozyrev said July 6, adding that the visit still requires "seriouspreparations" in the form of "a package of concreteagreements" to implement earlier Russian-Ukrainian accords.Because Moscow and Kiev disagree on the meaning of the accordsreached at the Yeltsin-Kuchma summit in Sochi in May. Kozyrev´sremarks suggest that Yeltsin´s visit remains as uncertainas it has been for the last two years.. Kozyrev added that Russia´srelationship with Ukraine can only be one of "strategic partnership;we do not conceive of anything else."
