Muhammad Tahir is currently a Washington Correspondent at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), while in DC, Muhammad mainly covers events relevant to his target region of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia. Prior to this position, he served as a staff correspondent and editor at the Turkmen Service of RFE/RL. From 1999-2002 Muhammad worked as a chief correspondent in Pakistan and Afghanistan at Turkish Television News Agency (IHA) and is author of Illegal Dating; A Journey Into The Private Life Of Iran.
