Jamestown Senior Fellow Margarita Assenova was quoted in a recent RFE/RL article, “Some ‘Pro-Russian’ Voices Tamed In Serbia, But Vucic Keeping His Options Open.” Assenova is quoted as saying that Serbia’s temporary government, which dominates parliament, does not need problems within the government while dealing with corruption and judicial reforms, infrastructure projects and the pandemic-hit economy. She continued, saying that Serbia is unlikely to change its balanced foreign policy.
